The
river Leam at Offchurch is a narrow stream with gravelly runs and
deeper bends. The overhanging trees are home to some really large chub
which can be caught by careful stalking.
Environment Agency
surveys have consistently shown that this stretch of river has a
diverse and healthy head of fish. Chub, roach and dace swim with big
perch, pike and even carp. This is a really productive small river
fishery.
Free lined or link-legered meat, bread or lob worm are
great for chub and stick float and maggot will produce some super dace,
even in very cold conditions.
This water is available to Leamington Angling members ONLY.
No guests on this water. Members must carry their membership book
and EA Rod Licence at all times.
